The Newkirk Community Garden is a small space with a big mission: to bring neighbors together to grow healthy food and native flora, build community, encourage healthy ecosystems, and care for and celebrate our neighborhood.
WHAT'S GROWING?
We grow edible plants, native and ornamental plants. Check our our photos on Facebook and Instagram! There are herbs and other edible plants in the planters on the sidewalk, which everyone is welcome to snip and use 24/7. If you would like to grow plants for your own use, you can consider volunteering!
